Well, it was a little bit of a crazy one Sunday. We had several guests and I used the very last Visitor Information card so if Jocelyn could print more by Sunday that would be great. I was able to hand out a few of the new CD's which was good.
Julie Bell needed Tylenol for Elizabeth so I got out the First Aid kit only to find every Tylenol, Motrin or Children's Aspirin tablet way outdated...like 2002. Thankfully, it was Julie needing it and not a visitor. Phew! Julie kindly offered to purchase the needed items to replenish our CM First Aid kits, since she is in the process of stocking the Youth Camp First Aid right now anyway. I also suggested she buy some Benedryl since we have some allergy issues, I wouldn't want any of us to be caught unprepared if for some reason there is a need for it.
Attendence was a little more time consuming than usual. It seemed like there were a lot of kids who were in class that had not taken their tags so my attendance sheets and the classroom sheets were not matching up a lot. Also, there seemed to be more kids coming to get their tags as the kids were going to class which just adds a little more chaos around the CM table.
Then the topper was that the Late Preschool teachers, Justin and Staci Smith, didn't show up. Sandra Arocho and her daughter Rebecca were aides in that class so Sandra suggested that Ed go get Jesus to help out. He did so and also Jan Landis jumped in. It seemed to go okay. Unfortunatley, one of our visitors was in that class; not sure what kind of impression we made.
Two babies should be added to the Nursery attendance and nametag sheets. They are Ilse Seasholtz (2/19/09) and Ethan Dailey (dob?)
Ed went to replenish the animal crackers for the nursery and the bag was on the shelf, opened, and the crackers were stale. We're not sure who is helping themselves and I'm not sure how to solve this one but this isn't the first time it has happened. Any suggestions anyone? I will bring some fresh animal crackers this week.
Last but not least, supplies that should be on the teacher supply cart seem to be making their way to our wheely coordinator cart. (scissors, glue sticks etc.) Ed redistributed everything and condensed a few items on our wheely cart so it is more organized. He put the napkins in the Rubbermade container with the cups if anyone needs them.
I think I remembered everything. I guess it will soon be time to distribute a new color of family ID cards. Also, kids moving up and classroom changes. Are we ready for all this?
Have a victorious week and Lord willing, see you all Sunday.
