I'm finally blogging from the past two Sundays.
Jan. 24th -
I was able to go through the orange binder from each class...organize them a bit, restock encouragement cards etc. It was fun, I like organizing!
Ed loves the new supply cart we have with a printer. He was thrilled to be able to print out a few more coloring sheets for the early pre-school class.
Liana Reinford expressed her desire to be an aide and I think she's already been placed on the list for the 3rd week of the month.
Jan. 31st-
Early pre-school asked about a coloring sheet, they didn't have one, Ed couldn't find one for the lesson so he just gave them an old picture to color.
I took the liberty to toss the orange ID cards of families that we thought may attend from Dayspring. I inquired about these families with Jeff Rudloff before doing so.
Didn't have too many aides show up but we managed and nursery help was no where to be found. Thankfully Chad & Sarah Clemens saw the need and stepped in as well as Melissa Osborne. Waiting parents seemed rather understanding.
Both of the weeks we were coordinators, the kindergarten class needed more glue and scissors. We borrowed both weeks from the 3rd grade class who wasn't using those supplies at all. If this happens in the future, 3rd grade may be a good place to go or do we want to supply kindergarten with enough stuff of their own? We have no inventory on these supplies. Any thoughts?
Also, as far as the feedback I'm getting from teachers regarding supplies/inventory...almost everyone has asked for dry erase markers and the 5th grade has asked for more Bibles. The response from teachers has been pretty slim. Do I send out another email or just run with the little response I got and make decisions the best we can?
I think that does it for the Ed & Connie we now turn it over the Steve & Krin.
