Sunday May 16th

A pretty quiet morning. Just a couple of notes:

• The Zimpher's would like permanent cards and nametags for Caiden (birthdate 7/17/09)
• We could use more encouragement cards - I gave the last of them out to one of the teachers this past week.
• I did not see Nic Prosseda to get Ava's birthdate. Maybe whoever is on the next two weeks, could try to get that.
• Hannah Thompson let us know that she will not be in church on May 30th, so whoever is coordinating that day, will need to slip an extra aide into that class to help Gloria. Thank You!
• Lastly, Jane Miller had a great idea, that maybe we could have Jocelyn put a reminder in the Grace e-announcements, reminding parents to PLEASE let coordinators know if you have taken your child's sticker, but are choosing to keep them in the service.

OK, so I have never used a blog before and it has taken me some time to figure this out. I hope it's right! Mother's Day was a fairly quiet morning, which for us was a huge answer to prayer being our first Sunday on our own :-) All the aides showed up, however, Gabrielle Suarez needed to help Laura teach (Immanuel was not there), so I didn't have an aide to send for Kindergarten, but the Zimpfer's were fine. Also on the aide sheet I would suggest you change Matt/Monica Colflesh to Matt OR Monica, because only one of them helps and they just decide who it will be that morning. I thought I would have both of them, so it got confusing.

I had a message from Deb that she and Wendy are switching with Bruce and Nan, May 30th for June 13th...I think Ed & Connie, you are on 6/13. Jocelyn, I didn't know if that is something you also like to know too.

A BIG thanks to all of you for showing us the ropes and welcoming us to the team. We are excited!
